ENTIRELY HOME-MADE COOKING
At the Chalet d'Ambre, no preserves or frozen meals. All our cuisine is prepared on site and we do our best to cook with local products: Fin Gras in season, homemade terrine, herbs and plants from the mountains and fields, mushrooms. Depending on the season, wild garlic, wild knotweed, bon-henri goosefoot, wild sorrel as well as field flowers decorate starters, soups and salads as well as fresh vegetables from Andrea's vegetable garden.
You can also taste our original desserts such as elderberry creams, meadowsweet and lavender ice creams and our hay sorbet and ice cream ...
Why not try a Lisette: Leffe pressure and a tear of hay syrup? And in winter, when returning from a snowshoe outing, taste a good mulled wine prepared by Marc.
SPECIAL DIETS
We are happy to cook dishes for vegetarians and vegans or for people with allergies to gluten or others. In order to serve you as well as possible, let us know at the time of booking.
DRINKS
A menu of varied hot or cold drinks,
with or without alcohol, is available on site.
Picnic
If you wish, we can prepare your lunch to take away with your choice of snack: sandwiches (cold meats and cheese) or picnic: a mixed salad and
cheese, bread and a fruit.
A kitchenette and a fridge are at your disposal
to prepare your own
midday snack.
